Located near three subway stops, this hotel is in the bustling Sakae district, close to bars and restaurants. Although the area is known to be a red-light district, the hotel has a rather safe environment. the rooms are small but comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean and functional. the staff is always helpful, offering great service and making guests feel welcome. A highlight of this hotel is the breakfast, which is a delicious buffet with both Japanese and Western options.
The hotel's parking lot can be overcrowded and hard to navigate at times.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to a bustling shopping center and plenty of local restaurants. the room was immaculate with a comfortable bed and a giant TV. I especially appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, who were able to hold our bags after check out time, allowing us to explore the city without lugging around our luggage all day.
The room supposedly designated as non-smoking had a faint smell of smoke. the hotel is located in an area that could be considered a red-light district, so it may not be everyone's preferred location.

The room had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay such as a refrigerator, electric kettle, and free toiletries. The big screen TV with free movie pass was a nice bonus. the location of the hotel was great for exploring the city with easy access to public transportation and key tourist spots.
The area surrounding the hotel seemed unsafe, especially at night, with many bars and loitering men. the room lacked proper lighting making it seem dark and gloomy.

Our recent stay at Apa Hotel Nagoya-Sakae Higashi was excellent. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were pleasant and engaging. We were impressed by the complimentary breakfast and hot spring, although it was located 60m away at the opposite hotel. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, with a special touch of Nagoya-style dishes. We particularly loved the light and flakey croissants and the made-to-order omelettes. The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the subway, restaurants, and clubs. The rooms were attractively designed and cozy, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The hotel was also generous with amenities, providing extras like hair ties and shower caps. Despite some minor drawbacks such as small rooms and a lack of atmospheric lighting, we would still recommend Apa Hotel Nagoya-Sakae Higashi for its attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.
